  1. Currently I have the following fixes on request: 936136, 937188, 937630, 937426, 937322 I guess MS will send them early next week. Cheers
  2. New: KB937188 When an Adobe RGB profile-embedded TIFF image is printed to the Windows XPS Document Writer on a Windows Vista-based computer, the colors may be incorrect KB932142 You cannot install some programs after you restore Windows Vista by using a "Windows Complete PC Backup and Restore Image" KB936136 You may experience problems when you use the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synthesizer on a Windows Vista-based computer
  3. Planetf1, i would guess that Xable and the others have more important things to do than checking for you if some fix is on the list or not. Please go to the first post in this thread, on the first page: http://thehotfixshare.net/board/index.php?showtopic=90 There you will see all hotfixes that are not officially available from MS but that are already requested or need requesting. It also shows x86/x64 flavor. Also I would like to add that MS seems to have a difficult time with Vista 64. This maybe why x86 hotfixes are more common. MS Reliability Analysis Component (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsvista/aa905077.aspx) shows significantly more errors for x64 than x86 So please do the basix yourself. We will sure try to help with advice and the hotfixes will become available in time. Just be patient. Thx.

  6. Hi all, I would like to open up a discussion on how to best slipstream Vista hotfixes into the installation source DVD. Using Windows XP this was rather easy: copying the install CD to HDD and then using the /integrate switch for each hotfix. It appears however that MS has changed this scenerio significantly. This seems due to the fact that all Vista versions are on the DVD. The procedure seems rather complicated as outlined here: http://winbeta.org/comments.php?id=6244&am...ighlight=hotfix A follow-up posting of this initial guide is here: http://winbeta.org/comments.php?id=6260&catid=1 Remember all I want to do is to update the Vista original DVD with the latest hotfixes, whereas some are required to be slipstreamed for certain hardware to function (e.g. ATI SB600 chipset). I search for the most easiest and convenient way. And of course it should be compliant with MS guidelines to do this. If you have any input, ideas or experiences slipstreaming Vista hotfixes, please share them in this thread. Thx.

  8. I might have to apologize as well as I did not know that uploading this was such an issue for you - since I was the first to ask for the file. If such circumstances arise again I will suggest another file sharing site like xdrive or rapidshare.
  9. thx alot EDIT: Wow! This seems more like a service pack release to .NET 2.0 rather than a normal hotfix.
  10. Well to download 4 Gigs is a bit excessive to get those fixes. Maybe Xable might allow you to upload them none the less?!?
  11. So you have downloaded Orcas? Can you upload those fixes?
  12. Hi all, maybe this is a bit exaggerated but did you ever think of turning the Share into a full tech website? I have been the editor in chief of warp2search for several years way back and currently I run my blog similar to what warp has been. Just as a hobby. But the opportunities are there. I lack the admin skills of running a server or the necessary knowledge of setting up content managing systems but I guess you know what I mean. Have a peek and maybe think it over: http://fileismissing.blogspot.com/ Of course the share should be more sophisticated than my blog.
  13. New hotfix: KB929909 - A Windows Vista-based computer that uses a Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset may occasionally not wake from sleep. This problem may occur about one time for every ten times that you try to resume the computer from sleep.

  15. New hotfix KB924692 - A USB 2.0 device stops working correctly when the device uses lots of bandwidth in Windows XP On a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, you use a high-bandwidth USB 2.0 device, such as an isochronous video camera. However, after you repeatedly start and stop the USB device, it stops working correctly. This problem is more likely to occur on a system that has 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM or less. However, when the system is under heavy stress, this problem may also occur on a system that has more than 256 MB of RAM.
