Full Version: New Vista Reliability & Stability Update Coming
The Hotfix Share > Hotfix and Update Discussion > Beta Den

German site reports that new updates are available on Microsoft's Connect website that are similar to the previous performance and reliability updates published earlier.

Winfuture article translated by Google

The first and most interesting is KB941649: It is a Vista reliability update and is said to improve: battery runtime on mobile devices, reaction time at and after boot, 3rd party anti-virus compatibility improvements, Internet Explorer stability, and stability of WLAN connections(!) and other things.

The second is for Windows Media Player: KB941651

The third for Media Center: KB941229

If we could get these that would be very cool. No knowledge base articles are available at the moment. ph34r.gif

Interesting, but keep in mind MS asked for the last lot to be removed. Rather boringly if they ask again I will comply.
I hope to see those patches here soon, looking forward to it.
Well someone could host them elsewhere (Rapidshare etc.) The problem is acquiring them.
No knacki99, I will hosted them. However, if MS ask for them to be removed no links will be posted here at all.
Do you have it already Xable?
When will you post it? smile.gif Or can you send me the file via PM maybe? smile.gif

Like I`ve already said. I will post them as soon as I have them.

It has to be reviewed by an administrator first.
I will approve the file tomorrow. Can`t do it now because I need to make a new section and I don`t have time. For now I`ve copied it over to the upload section.
I will start with next patches now. I will only up x86 for the moment.
Finished uploading all x86 versions. x64 patches are coming soon.
