Windows XP service Pack 2, Service Pack 2 and 3 won't load |

I have a Dell 9100 Inspiron lap top. My son never bothered to load the security updates so now it is loaded with viruses. I went to Microsoft downloads and Service Pack 2 shows as a 0 KB size and 0 secs' to download. I need to put on service pak 2 before I do service pack 3. Then I can finish downloading my Norto anti virus program.
Can anyone help? Any downloads? |

I don't know if I sent correctly sdo I am resending. SP 2 shows as a 0 KB size with 0 sec to install and it doesn't download.

Thanks for all the great input and help you guys gave me. I was able to download Norton, and got rid of some nasty Togan virsus. Thje SP 3 would not load from Microsoft Updates, but it did work from the updat KB list that was sent. Lap top is working good. The only thing is that it is slow on my wireless. Is tyhere something that can be done?
