You may like W2K because it`s familiar and all that, but it doesn`t have TRIM support, automatic alignment and disableing of features that are a no no on SSD`s. W7 has all that and more which is why it`s the best OS for SSD`s.

W7 may look basically the same as vista on the surface but look bellow the surface and it`s far superior.

Running x86 RTM, Found a few bugs the testers missed, overall a very good OS.

Win7 is Vista on steroids or is Vista SP3, me think MS re-branded the OS to help all the dummies save face.

When are we going to get a Win7 hotfix thread?

Nope. Long-time XP user, and that won't change anytime soon. I will certainly keep an eye on Windows 7 and it's release, and then see what the reviews are and what bugs need to be fixed before considering it. And even then, I will dual-boot and keep XP.
