Hello everybody,
I decided to try bitlocker after installing my new Windows 7 Ultimate. I have 1tb seagate external hard drive. I turned bitlocker on the go on it and after successfully finishing encryption i cannot access it anymore. The bitlocker wizard just crashes... I searched all the google results, microsoft and others. Have talked with friends and after finding this hotfix: Windows6.1-KB975496-v2-x64 and tried many times to install it it just gives me as an result it is not applicable on my system. A want to ask everybody in this forum for help, it urgent, it stops my work... There has to be some kind of fix.... |

Hi bogsi, there are steps you can follow here to recover your data and turn off bitlocker, you need your recovery password.
