Wow installed a bunch of updates and this problem (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=970408) from Vista is still in Windows 7. Took MS 3 years to release that fix and now the nightmare starts again in Windows 7.

I think there will be not periodic update packs anymore?
Because,
Microsoft has been released a few updates but thoose updates hasn't included in this pack?
or am I wrong

You are right, doesn't make sense to provide beta updates for an OS that's no longer in beta.

W7 hotfixes have been uploaded already though thanks to some of our members.
