KB3093899 - VMs that run on CSVs fail if DCM can't query volumes in Windows Server 2012 R2
NOTE: The Knowledge Base article states that you must install KB2919442 (a Servicing Stack update, ultimately superseded by KB3021910) and then KB2919355 (the infamous April 2014 Update) before installing this hotfix. This is unhelpful, at best. One way to ensure that you will be able to successfully install this hotfix is to first install KB2975061, followed by KB3021910. After those two updates, you should be able to successfully install KB2919355 if you have not already done so. Finally, install this hotfix. (All updates mentioned in this note are available from the Microsoft Download Center.)
