There are already hotfixes available for Windows 8 RTM. I have W8 Pro x64 installed which I got from Technet.

Thanks for the fix! Thought I'd never Sleep again. That's what I get for having a 1TB SATA drive. .

Downloaded the 7.7MB file. Took less then a second. I'm on a 101/15 connection in the eastern USA.

Picked up a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus 500 GB the other day for $90.00 US. When I got home and ran some stuff to it the speeds were lousy. This hotfix fixed that. I was about to return the drive. I highly recommend this hotfix if you got any USB drives. Thanks for providing it.
