definicjaCEPA
Hi, I was playing around on Microsoft Connect 'till I stumbled on Windows Driver Kit. It turned out it contained updated Windows Driver Foundation redistributable. Strangely, all setups were wrapped in Vista-only compatible installations, but luckily WinRAR extracted them without problems. I've tested the download on XP SP3 & everything works fine (I've got a ZEN Vision:M player which utilizes this technology). Enjoy - if that's the word for it X86 32-bit Windows 5.X Family x86 (2K/XP/2003) http://www.xup.in/dl,20107330/Microsoft_Kernel-Mode_Driver_Framework_Install-v1.7-Win2k-WinXP-Win2k3.exe/ Windows 6.X Family x86 (Vista/Server 2008) http://www.xup.in/dl,20210411/Microsoft_Kernel-Mode_Driver_Framework_Install-v1.7-Vista.msu/ AMD64 Windows 5.X Family (2K/XP/2003) http://www.xup.in/dl,16521421/Microsoft_Kernel-Mode_Driver_Framework_Install-v1.7-Win2k-WinXP-Win2k3-AMD64.exe/ Windows 6.X Family (Vista/Server 2008) http://www.xup.in/dl,21350949/Microsoft_Kernel-Mode_Driver_Framework_Install-v1.7-Vista-AMD64.msu/ Itanium64 Windows 5.X Family (2K/XP/2003) http://www.xup.in/dl,18317316/Microsoft_Kernel-Mode_Driver_Framework_Install-v1.7-Win2k-WinXP-Win2k3-IA64.exe/ Windows 6.X Family (Vista/Server 2008) NOT AVAILABLE IN THE PACKAGE - Only screwed up 3 byte MSU file :( Edited September 24, 2008 by definicjaCEPA

knacki99
The file version is the same as RTM on Vista. Only the file date differs. I wonder if this is really newer or just repacked as a redist.
