xable
No mate, it's an update because it's officially released on microsoft's download centre. A hotfix is not and crucialy doesn't get as much testing. Hotfixes we host, updates we don't.

Robert
I've uploaded several Windows 7 hotfixes. ... and since that day it´s been a very very lot of Hotfixes. I think so much haven´t been in any Windows(NT)-ServicePack before! It seems that Windows7 soon will get final state (with sp1)
McRip
I've just uploaded bunches of hotfixes for Windows 7 x86 and x64... I guess the Service Pack 1 will be a big one... Cheers
xable
I really wish you'd do a constant trickle McRip, rather than an occasional flood Not that I'm complaining you understand
McRip
I understand you, xable. The issue is that all these hotfixes have been released two day ago by Microsoft. I couldn't help it... I always try to make hotfixes public as soon as being released by Microsoft.
xable
Fair enough, but still. If someone needs a fix quickly they can always request it. It's not an issue anyway, upload however you like.
McRip
The hotfixshare should always be up-to-date... My opinion. Cheers
xable
I'm not saying it shouldn't be, it's never completely up-to-date though. There are too many operating systems, products and languages for it to be always up-to-date. The Hotfix Share would containg hundreds of thousands of hotfixes if it was "up-to-date". My point is just that instead of uploading 60 hotfixes in a few hours, for example, you can spread them out over a few days. There is no harm in that and it was more of just a light hearted comment anyway, hence the smilies.. like I say it's not an issue. This is way off topic now, we should move to a new thread or PM if you want to continue the discussion.
