    IMPORTANT NOTE:
     
    I had previously reported that this hotfix causes several problems. As it turns out, this is true if you do not have ASP.NET 4.5 installed BEFORE installing it.
     
    To benefit from this hotfix, first, uninstall it if you have already installed it. Then install ASP.NET 4.5 from Turn Windows features on or off (in the Control Panel). Then install this hotfix. You will notice that in this scenario the hotfix produces the intended results.
     
    I have reported this issue to Microsoft. Hopefully, they will straighten it out in a future release.
